Maximum taste, minimum guilt.


  • 1 cup dates
  • 1/2 cup hazelnuts
  • 1/2 cup almonds
  • Handful of raisins
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp shredded coconut
  • Tbs honey
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Add the nuts, dates and raisins to a food processor or blender and whizz until crumbly. Throw in the  cocoa powder, coconut, honey and vanilla and whizz again. If the mixture gets too sticky and clogs the machine, add a little water to loosen it. When it seems evenly mixed and has a doughy consistency, spread it into a dish and put it in the freezer for an hour before cutting into pieces.
