A delicious breakfast that offends my Scottish ancestry.

Ingredients:

  • Porridge oats
  • Water
  • A banana
  • Honey
  • Cinnamon
  • Dark chocolate
  • Strawberries and chocolate flakes to garnish

Mix half a cup of porridge oats with one and a half cups of boiling water, and stir over a medium heat. Once it begins to thicken, add a chopped banana, a tablespoon of honey and a pinch of cinnamon. Mash the banana into the mixture, then add a square of dark chocolate. Stir until reasonably thick, and add more honey if you want added sweetness.

Eat hot or cold, with a sprinkling of chocolate flakes and strawberries on top if desired.
